  • At the Embassy of Pakistan, violinist Dilshad Hussain, with H.E. Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Anne L. Howard-Tristani and the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows from 15 different nations. The performance of Sufi and Pakistani Fusion Music was a special treat, as was the outstanding hospitality of the staff of The Embassy of Pakistan in celebration of their 70th year of Independence.

  • Pianist Víkingur Ólaffson, played magnificently at the Icelandic Ambassador’s Residence on April 9th a program of J.S. Bach, Philip Glass and Ludwig van Beethoven. The young pianist just signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammaphon Gesellschaft and plays with the Los Angeles Symphony soon. With the artist are H.E. Geir H. Haarde and his wife, Mrs. Inga Jona Thordardóttir.

  • The Embassy Series hosted 196 high schools musicians from the Homestead Spartan Alliance Band from Fort Wayne, Indiana, at the Russian Embassy on April 4th . A number of young Russian students are seated next to Cultural Attaché Natalia Dementieva. Standing ovations for the Russian, Ukrainian & American artists participating.

  • The Embassy Series was hosted by the Uzbek Embassy on November 11th in their magnificent embassy and residence. Violinist Nadir Khashimov and pianist Barno Nishnova performed brilliantly. Also pictured are the Deputy Chief of Mission Said Rustamov and Director/Founder Jerome Barry.

  • The Embassy Series welcomed students from American University and The International Student House to a great concert with Itamar Zorman, violin and Amy Yang, piano at the Embassy of Israel on Thursday, December 1. We are proud to have attracted many young, future leaders unto our midst in our desire to perpetuate musical diplomacy.

  • The Codetta Choir from Northern Ireland, under the able director, Dónal Doherty, gave an amazing performance at the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The program was received with great enthusiasm and these young people mingled with our audience marvelously and it turned out to be an extremely exhilarating evening.

  • The concert at the Nicaraguan Embassy on November 18th was a great success, with brilliant performances of the Noguera Jazz Trio. Pictured here are E.J. Stickland, percussionist, Darwin Noguera, jazz pianist, and Tamir Shmerling, bassist. The audience was thrilled with the program and Ambassador and Mrs. Francisco Campbell were great hosts. The program was dedication to the Fabretto Children’s Foundation and was an unqualified success.

  • At the Portuguese Ambassador’s Residence on June 23rd, pianist Júlio Resende performed beautifully a program of improvisation in the fado style. Pictured above are Congressman Jim Costa, Ambassador Vital, the artist, Director Jerome Barry and Congressman David Valadao.

  • The Embassy Series continued its mini-series of great musical programs and artists at the International Student House on November 19th with a full house of aficionados. The young people here are all studying at major universities and are the future leaders in their respective countries. Pianist Christopher Schmitt gave a magnificent performance of works by Schubert, Beethoven and Chopin.
